I follow a lot of international fashion bloggers and i’m always so jealous when they have this ‘bloggers brunch’ thing, my chance to attend one finally came when i heard about The Dee Mako blogger brunch and i did’nt miss it for anything. It is the first of its kind, an avenue for bloggers to meet and greet in Lagos, Nigeria.
It was a meet designed to inform, educate, inspire and build lasting offline relationships, and i can tell you that the aim was met.
The event which took place on the 12th of December, 2015 from 12pm to 5pm at the very exquiste Davinci Fashion lounge at No. 19 Adetokunbo Ademola, Victoria Island, Lagos. I got there late (i’m a latecomer every time… i hope to change that in 2016) but i still had the chance to meet about 40 fashion, beauty and lifestyle bloggers all of whom are influential in their niche, both the ones i already follow and new wonderful ones.
We had a great time eating, drinking (i practically had to start rejecting food and drinks… shoutout to that girl from cointreau that wanted me to start pee-ing on my body from taking too much cocktail… did i look that thirsty? hahahaha) and wonderful interactive sessions which helped me gather motivation to start blogging again.
A huge thank you to all the sponsors Zaron (that goody bag was far too kind of you loved it), African Things, Cointreau, Byge, Wilson’s Lemonade, Daltimore, Desire 1709, Kayge Cosmetics, Titi Belo, Bloom and Nigerian & Natural, for your amazing contributions and especially for setting the pace for more brands to work directly with bloggers in Nigeria.
An amazing experience it was, I cant wait for the next one.
Your comments are always very welcome, I’d be glad to hear your thoughts about the event.
*MERRY CHRISTMAS IN ADVANCE*
